Hi all,

So i started facing this in the past few days which is the motion of the screen when i switch Win8 Apps and when i press the start menu, when i change the background wallpaper, this all used to switch/open or i don't really know how to describe it, but like the start menu it used to slide from the bottom left corner to the sides, now it just fades and appears so fast, i hope you guys got what i mean and i can explain further, its like "Reduce motion" on Iphones
Instead of zooming in the category it fades and switches fast, i hope you guys can help

Best regards.

Hello Deadtose, and welcome to Eight Forums.

This may be the "Fade and slide..." and "Animate" visual effect settings that need to be checked to turn on again.

For Start screen animation, see: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/43605-start-screen-animation-enable-disable-windows-8-a.html

Hope this helps, :)

Thank you so much, this helped me, what i did to solve this is :
I've went to "Control panel > System and security > System > Advanced system settings
Then under advanced I clicked settings of "Performance" and selected "Let Windows choose what's best for my computer".
Thank you Brink but i still got a question which is:
What changed these settings? I never entered here and changed it to custom
What may caused this change, any idea?

Btw I have Bit defender 2015 installed it sometimes changes settings of windows updates... etc
Could it be also the reason of this change of performance settings?

Best regards.

You're most welcome. :)

Could be, but if you make any changes in the "Ease of Access Center", it'll also reset your visual effects settings back to default.
