Hi all,
Thanks for taking the time to help me with this issue. I searched quite a bit but was unable to find anything exactly like my issue. Three days ago I updated my laptop to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8. After doing so my laptop began to have the black screen issue which I resolved by following the steps from this page:
Step By Step How to Solve Windows 8.1 and 8 Black Screen Issue upon boot | Virtualization blog <form action='/search' id='searchThis' method='get' style='display: inline;'><input id='searchBox' name='q' onblur='if(this.value=='')this.value=th
Now I am unable to project to a second screen. My set up is two monitors connected to my laptop (One from a directly connected HDMI cable and the other by an HDMI cable, connected to a utility bar, connected to my laptop by usb). I have already updated my graphics driver to the latest edition and still get the message "Your PC can't project to another screen. Try reinstalling the driver or using a different video card."
I NEVER had an issue with this before the update and I'm really regretting doing so right about now, please help!
