Hi guys,

Tried creating a bootable USB with both membtest86 and membtest86+ and neither will boot.

I get a brief error "missing operating system" and then my system boots up normally.

Secure boot is disabled in the bios. What is going on?

HI guys,
I solved the issue. Before running the USB installer fo rmemtest I needed to do a manual reformat of the usb drive. The capacity of the drive had shrunk down to 49mb so I had to use diskpart to clean and reset the drive to default.
