Hello. I'm seeking help on my antivirus windows defender. I love windows defender because i am really safe on the internet and it doesn't affect the performance of my PC. I have used it in windows 7 before and i know that i could set scheduled scans daily. i use this a lot because I am forgetful and forget to scan regularly. but i cant seem to find this option in the windows 8 version.
Heres what it looked like in 7: Thanks in advance.

Try opening that task up (double click it or right click it and select properties) and the go to the Triggers tab, can you create a new trigger then?

Yes, thanks. I followed the rest and was able to do it. Why did they have to remove so many features from the windows 8 one? :(

Glad you got it sorted, to be honest i'm not sure why that has been removed from the GUI?
