I keep seeing this pop -up screen from Windows .... SAYING .....Windows Cannot find..... What do I need to do now ?

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\HKCMD.EXE.

Feel free to move me if you need to.. thanks

It has to do with your graphics/chipset driver. You may want to go to the manufacturer website and redownload the latest updates for those.

Loveandpower hi.. I've been to the website for my Gateway laptop..
I found the Driver for the issue on this list / link below , using my SNID #

Drivers & Downloads

I chose driver>>>> downloaded it....>>> found the folder it was in>>>> clicked to extract it .. I saw it opening in the folder..
after it finished.... I closed the folder.
I noticed it's an updated driver from the one in the OLD download folder, ( numbers before downloading it ).
I'm headed OFF to reboot the laptop.. ( I'm guessing I should do this now ?)

oh yes, you should always reboot after driver downloads/installs :)

you must fined and double click on the setup.exe (or install.exe)in the folder it extracted to before it installs,and yes then you would reboot

Caperjack I did extract the driver to the folder.. I saw the green line, as it extracted, then I closed the folder.
