benchmark temperature program or site

I have Speccy which tells me the temp of my mother board and cpu etc.
Without a benchmark to compare what my readings are with what they should be, does not mean much.
I have tried everywhere but I only get discussions and opinions.
Can you think of somewhere I can get a place to compare my temps with what they should be?
I have tried Belarc and the Dell site. Even the manuf of the cpu and MOBO have not given this information.

Thank you

If you want to see the temps all of the time. Core Temp is the best out there. You can download just the program, without the installer at Core Temp Click on the "More Downloads" for the program without the third party installer.

benchmark

As I said I have no trouble with reading temps; I need a benchmark as to what my pc should be reading so I can compare the two.

You'd be best of checking each component's manufacturer site for working and maximum allowable temperatures. That's best way to find out the limits. And keep them to within 75 - 80% of them. For instance, I found out from AMD that my processor should shut down (and it does) at 62c with 55c maximum temperature (core) when running a heavy benchmark program. A certain pin on the processor (forgot now which one) shows in CPUID-HW Monitor as Tempin2 and measures temperature underneath processor and can go as far as 90c when under extreme stress. As it is tied to VRM on the MB by cooling VRM better than factory made I managed to lover it to 80c. Same goes for GPU etc.
Alternatively you should check at forums dealing with overclocking as there you can find how far can most components go temperature wise. Some serious limits are pushed there. When running benchmark programs, people usually list temperatures at which those test are run. Keep in mind that some combinations of hardware can produce wildly different temperatures and temperature testing programs can be inaccurate by wide margin. Some serious testers and OCers even use infrared detectors to more accurately measure temps.

Thank you, Count, for your help. I have not had much luck at the cpu manuf site to date but will pursue that avenue and the same for the MOBO.
I'll let you know.

That you will never find. Due to not every machine is the same, along with how they are used.

I did get help at the Intel site and another forum recommended to me. They gave me the highs of the CPU etc. and further testing information.

Looks like a nice clean system, with temperature worries out of the way, should be satisfied with it.

@Caperjack
I had a bit of trouble with publishing Speccy and did not want to publish the wrong material in the wrong place.
So, I copied the url that was generated by publishing Speccy to Word and have it available.
Is this safe to paste here for analysis or will that not be acceptable?
Peter

Got to check that Spacy out, otherwise I use Everest, Aida and SIW for system check and reports that can be made in txt, HTML and MHTML formats and only with some aspects, like only HW, SW etc. They also have benchmarking part whose results can be compared online.
