This is a little strange but my Keyboard language input keeps changing from English (UK) to English (US)... pretty much all of my passwords have an @ sign in them so you can imaging how annoying this is lol.
I have tried to add English (US) >> Set it as Primary >> Then remove English (US).
Doing this removes the English (US) keyboard completely which is what I want/expect but then it comes back again after a short while?
So...
FIX - Any idea's why this would happen / how to fix?
Workaround - Is it possible to change the English (US) keys to match that of the English (UK) so even if it does change to English (US) it wouldn't be a problem anyway?
Is the region set for English United Kingdom for formats and location?
Here you lost me, " I have tried to add English (US) >> Set it as Primary >> Then remove English (US) ", why. Is the English United Kingdom keyboard set to default and how about the settings for the mouse.
This was simply a test... I put it in US and then put it back in UK to try and force the computer to realise it is now UK. This actually worked for a few minutes....
When you press WIN + SPACE it switches between the available keyboard languages you have installed, when i did the above step there were no other languages to switch to but within a few minutes US was back as an option?
Trying some more troubleshooting this morning and found this...
If i save all the macros/buttons on board (this WOW mouse has 14 buttons) and then uninstall the mouse control panel i no longer have the issue with the input language changing which implies it is the wow mouse control panel.
I went to re-install it and get these setup language options:
My understanding is that choosing English (United States) shouldn't cause the above mentioned issue but this software is definitely causing the issue.
I can use the mouse and buttons without the software but i can't make any changes to the macros/buttons without the software so would like a way to stop this
i can use SHIFT + 2 to get the @ sign but much prefer (used to) the English (UK) layout and when typing password you don't see the text so i keep getting the passwords wrong.
Is there a way to change the layout of the US keyboard?
This way, even if it does change to US the @ sign, £ sign etc... would still be in the UK layout?
