Hello, I use a Gateway Windows 8 Home Premium 64 Bit.
I have a Gateway Computer, and it comes with a Gateway "Power Button" on the Task bar which many of my Computer users like to use. When you click on it, it comes up with 5 Power Options, "Lock", "Sleep", "Hibernate", "Restart", and "Shutdown".
The issue is, when we shutdown the computer from this menu, it takes twice as long to shutdown, then when I turn back on the computer, it takes 3 times as long to startup.
However, when I shutdown the Computer from the charms bar in settings, blazing fast shutdown then blazing fast startup.
Fast startup on the computer is enabled, but it seems like it only works when shutting down from the charms bar.
Why when I shutdown from the Gateway Power Button does it not utilize fast startup? Is there a way to fix this?
