problem with commands- they are yellow

I cannot figure out how to fix this on a clients computer, seems all the commands are in yellow
as you see in the pics below
it even shows up on the web site
Anyone know how to fix this?

I tried that first, it did not change it, the web was just an example, it is all over windows, when you have to click to another section

What about changing the Theme via Personalize from right click on Desktop?

Could it be a 3rd party color tuner software?

Maybe it's a glitch that a cold shutdown might fix. *crosses fingers*

I hope it's not a Registry issue but you could open your HKCU\ControlPanel\Colors and ...Desktop\Colors and see if 'GradientActiveTitle' and 'GradientInactiveTile' jives with the clients.
(I'm pretty sure those are the ones)

i will check that one tomorrow
this was an open box desktop she purchased at bestbuy, i am assuming someone messed up the settings somewhere but no one noticed this and sold it to her anyway.

Sorry Robin, I was mistaken!
Apparently the changes are associated with the 'Hyperlink' feature which I can only find in Windows 7 'Window Color and Appearance' settings.
