Hello everybody!

I will shortly describe my situation.

I bought new msi laptop, Installed Windows 8.1 on it, I added SSD 128 and installed windows on it, then because SSD is small, I found the way how to change default installation location(Of new programs), location of documents, location of Desktop in registry settings, i changed them and everything worked perfectly.

NOW i cause problem, each time when i tried to open picture it pop-up error " rundll the specified module could not be found". I found solution on YouTube. ( I don't know if I can upload the link so i say what it was about)

"How to Fix RUNDLL Error 100% Working"

I did the steps from the tutorial, go to command promt, run it as admin, and type " SFC /SCANNOW"
I restarted laptop as it was advice, and now when I click on picture, it doesn't show any error, any RUNDLL box,
When I double-click on pic (or EVEN when i right-click the picture), it refresh desktop, minimize every program that run, close all open explore folders, and shows nothing, no pictures. That is really strange behavior when I try to open picture, I downloaded common software to open pictures, and it worked, but I want to use windows in normal way, no by third-part software.

If anybody is familiar with this problem please help me, I couldn't find any solution anywhere, it always was some other cases.

* I'm not very happy to restore whole windows
* I restarted it many times
* I restore to default libraries
* It's always the same everywhere on laptop, so no location depend

Nothing worked yet.

Best regards to all!

Have a look at this article at MSDN - maybe it'll help in your case.

Personally I use Dependency Walker to track components interactions, you may try it yourself as well.

Still nothing helps to me. It's strange that dll shows error with starting photoViewer.dll
A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.

What does it mean? Any solutions?

Thank You in advance.

Sorry for not precisely asked question. Look at my registry pic, and the all programs default location paths. After installing windows i chose to automatically install on 'D' HDD, instead of Windows 'C' SSD. Now all problems comes, and I want to see somebodys registry paths. Please go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion" and llok your default install directory, and show it :), maybe it will help me.
