I work at a company and we just went through an internal network change which required a transfer of my user settings to a new account. Everything seemed fine after the switch but now I can't set my .txt default program. It used to be notepad++. It's now set to "Not selected" and if I change it, it goes right back to "Not selected". This is very annoying because I do a lot of text editing.
I've tried setting the default program from Default Programs -> Set Associations and from the right-click context menu. I'm running the latest Windows 8.1.
Any ideas how to fix this?
