My suggestions for the final version

I can tell you having used the beta for about 15 hours with nothing but a touchpad and a keyboard that the Metro UI surprisingly works really well. The addition of the commands in the corners was brilliant and much needed. The Charms work amazingly. I do have some complaints though:

1) When you're switching between apps using the left corner/side of the screen, when you hover over an app it needs to preview just like Win7 Aero Peek.

2) When you grab the top of an app and you have the option to drag it down to close out or drag it to the side to have two apps side-by-side, you should see the Start screen in the background, not just your background color.

3) When you right click on the Start screen do bring up the "all apps" option, you should be able to left click out of it, not just right-click.

4) The time needs displayed at all times on the Start screen.

These are all I got for now. These are also only OS-specific, I've already submitted feedback about apps via the feedback tool in each app. What do you guys think?

Nice suggestions! I would definitely have to agree with all of them.

I might also add that there should an option to have a start menu for those who aren't yet used to the new Windows 8 layout. A lot of people may be turned off by the unfamiliarity of a new OS and stick with Windows 7 or XP.

^Agreed, even though I actually think, whether touch screen or not, the new Start menu is better.Continuing with the suggestions:5) Add a tutorial, an in-depth tutorial, to show how the new OS works. And if a choice for the old Start menu option isn't implemented, be sure to show the similarities and advantages between the old Start menu and the new Start screen.6) Adding on to #1, there should be small text on each app's thumbnail displaying the title of the app.7) Make the desktop easier to get to. Just like you can always get to the Start screen by hovering over the left bottom corner, there should be somehow to get to the desktop very easily (I'm not sure how this could work).8) When on the Start screen, there should be something indicating that you can just type to search your PC for files and apps. Also, while on this subject, when you do a search on the Start screen, it should not default to search for apps, but it should default search "all," and bring up results based on relevance to query (just like it is on Vista/7).
