ALT + F4 in Metro App takes me to desktop

    ALT + F4 in Metro App takes me to desktop

    There has been a sudden change in behaviour on my Win8.1 system:
    If I press ALT+F4 when I wish to leave a Metro App I now get taken back to the desktop instead of the start screen.
    How can I correct this?

    Hello Jim,

    Unchecking the When I sign in or close apps on a screen, go to the desktop instead of Start box in step 4 of Option Two in the tutorial below would set this for you.
