Good evening (or morning)

I need some advice please. I have been doing PowerPoint (Package for CD) and sending it to people so they can use the information on a touch screen kiosk. Their PC crashed and they need a new one which will be running Windows 8.1.

Would anyone have any information on if the package for CD will work on a PC running 8.1 and if so, are there any other programs that need installing?

I really appreciate any information that anyone can provide :)

Welcome Emmsie.

Generally, if the program works on a prior Windows OS, it will work on Windows 8.1. IOW, I used Office 2010, which works just fine on Windows 8.1. Anything I created on Office 2010 using Windows 7 transports quite efficiently to Office 2010 or Office 2013, using Windows 8.1.

That said, since I'm not familiar with what you're doing with PowerPoint, could you explain what it does and what the criteria is? The only touch screens I have are my Kindle Fire HD, my HP Slate and of course, my cell phone.
