Solved Turbo Boost - Intel Core i5-3210M

I have Intel Core i5-3210M on my Laptop with 2GB Radeon GPU

I want to Auto - Turbo Boost the CPU to 3.1 G
HZ or manually Turbo Boost. Want to know how to perform this task?;)

Now I want to know how to Turbo Boost. Don't think its Overclocking as this something not mentioned officially but Turbo Boost is mentioned officially.

you could also go to search type in turbo boost and see what comes up ,did you check all app on the start screen and see if it shows a app called turbo boost
check the manual, if you don't have one ,check the laptop makes website,look in Support section using the model # from the backside of the laptop ,if you need to ,you could post model # here and we could help you find the manual'

any way you get from 2.5 to 3.1 would be considered overclocking

My Laptop is HP Envy M6 1102TX, direct me to the proper guide on Turbo boosting this Laptop as not used to going through large number of text in User-Manuals.

It should be a BIOS feature, you have to set it from there but I would not advise it, that being a laptop. Much more heating and battery life suffers a lot.

I wanted to Turbo Boost on special occasions only like while playing Game or Converting Videos etc and 75% of the time I am surfing Internet and hence Turbo boost here not required...

If possible to turbo boost from within Windows 8.1 then please post method here.

Setting Power option to high performance might help.
