Weird icon bug

Hi,

I've been having a weird icon bug for some time now, and i was hoping it would fix on it's own, but no luck.
So, sometimes, some icons simply disappear, as shown in the picture below, and it takes some time to load everything, like 1 minute.

All of the files shown in the picture below were folders, except for FPS Booster which is an .exe that does that media player trick. I have tried resetting the thumbnail cache, running disk check and sfc /scannow but nothing corrupt can ever be found. Any suggestions?

PS: The books folder has a special book icon i use for it, is that why it's the only one that shows the folder icon?
PS2: Don't know if it matters, but i use AeroGlass and Startisback. I use windows 8.1

Just ran DISM, didn't find anything wrong

I didn't notice the PS and PS2. Did you edit that in?

I don't use 3rd party tweaking, so I wouldn't know. The only thing I can think of is to uninstall programs or icons you've added one at a time to see.

Actually i had aero glass uninstalled for quite some time now that i think of it, and the problem persisted.
