Hi

Although I have now configured W* to my liking, which is to boot up WITHOUT need for password, on the odd occasion, depending on which way I closed down, I am still asked for it.

If I want to ignore the request, I need to c/o restart, and it boots up without request.

If its any help, its when it open up with the coloured screen of half circles.

As I went through the correct/advised process of Unchecking need for password, I find it strange it can still happen.

Hi Frenchman,
suspect its 1 of the power savings options, see screenshot
note both MS and PC makers have this option depends which 1 you use, and change as required
