Hello! I am a noob when it comes to these things, so bear with me.
I recently updated my Dell notebook from windows 8 to windows 8.1. That's when the headache started.
The first time I restarted it I could log in, but the start menu with "please wait" would show up and never leave. After the third restart attempt it went back to normal and I left it at that. However, a few days later, it started acting out again. I can always log in, but I can never leave the start menu. Swiping the side menu to access settings doesn't work, because the screen blocks it.
I cant switch users, access any of the normal desktop functions...
I have tried booting from the safety mode thing, but F8 isn't doing anything.
