Hi, I have a large start menu which I've always customised with iconised folders (Multimedia, Internet, Utilities) and am accustomed to being able to move, delete, rename items in the start menu.
Win 8 interrupts with a dialogue box telling me I need admin permission to do most things. And there is a slightly drawn out progress box which doesn't like being interrupted by me doing sthg with the start menu before it finishes. (Sticks at 94% if I do).
Now this was never the case before Win8 (which needs admin rights for a good many things). I am running as a user with admin rights. Is there any way of getting rid of this dialogue box?
(I'm using Aston Menu - which gives fly-out columns like XP- useful for larger start menus).
Thanks
