UAC-How do I "trust" a program from an unknown publisher?

    Thanks Shawn, that's not quite what I meant though. In the tutorial we enable the Administrator account and then inherit permissions from it. What I meant is after this is done can I disable the Administrator account again. There are a couple of programs I'd like to do this for (Sysinternals sync mainly) but I don't want the Administrator account enabled. I could test it I suppose (in fact I will).

    Edit: Unfortunately if you disable the Administrator account the shortcut created in the tutorial stops working.

    Yeah, if you disable the built-in Administrator, the shortcut will stop working until the account was enabled again.
