Ok, so the problem that I have is when I use the "open containing folder" in BitTorrent. Windows explorer then opens 2 same windows with the exact same content. Another thing is when in Google Chrome I download any file and when I try to use "show in folder" it just opens the folder without scrolling to the file and highlighting it. Do you guys know any tips on how to fix this?

Hi,
_is your google chrome updated to the last version,or it could be chrome couldnt find the file your looking for because the Downloads folder is full or you renamed the folder.chrome do that when he can`t find the file your looking for.
_About IE ithink that the file you downloaded contains 1 or more HTML files and your default HTML opener is IE.otherwise your IE has a problem you need to refresh your PC.

Google chrome is on the latest version and it happens with all the files that I download. I cleared my downloads folder and When I download something again the same issues occurs. About the second problem it is not Internet Explorer, it is Windows Explorer (explorer.exe).

DarkBlack71,
am so sorry for that mistake but i think that you have 2 explorer.exe files in Windows file.so go there and check if there is 2 files. if you didnt find 2 of them then probabely you have clicked 2 times on show in folder in bittorent.if that also didnt work keep a backup of your explorer.exe and download a new one and replace it in C:\Windows.Same thing for Chrome if that also didnt work make a full system scan of ur computer

DarkBlack71 make a backup of it and replace them both with another explorer.exe file in both location and it may fix it

That's normal for the 64 bit version of Windows 8. I'd leave them alone. The 64 bit version will often have 64 bit and 32 bit versions for compatibility with 32 bit programs. That's why there is a Program Files <64bit, and Program Files (x86) <32bit folders.
