I recently got a problem i noticed when i looked on my processes in Task Manager.

RegSvcs.exe is always 100% (Or rather 50%, it seems to use 2 cores, and i got 4).

I have no idea why, it seems to be Net Framework 2 or something, but i don't even use it, it seems to always be there, i can close it, but it will come back eventually, not sure if it's after a boot or not though.

But i want to solve it, so here i am asking for assistance:)

Forget task manager - use Process Explorer you will find much more interesting information.

Well, I checked online, and it seems you may have a virus.

Perhaps this may help.

How to remove the regsvr.exe virus from windows pc

Rickkins may very well be correct; however, I have noticed that any major .net framework updates will cause increased task manager activity to be realized for a considerable amount of time. In fact, I have seen it continue for hours on slower PCs but it should not continue indefinitely. Just consider this an FYI.

It's Regsvcs, not Regsvr.

Also, it goes on indefinitely, it seems to be removed if i exit it, i think it comes back each boot though.

Will use process explorer on it and post the information.
