I'd like to add a file extension to the list given in Control Panel/Default Programs. In WinXP it was really easy but I hardly needed to use it as there seemed to be a lot more extensions available anyway back then. Unbelievably, (well, to me anyway), MS seem to have omitted '.flac'. How do I go about it?

Thanks.

If you have the program you wish to associate with .flac on your system then right click a .flac file. Click open with... there should be an option to browse to the program. If the program is portable that could be an issue. But if it is installed you should be able to browse to it. At some point there should be a check box "always use program name to open files of this type."
