Need help opening PDFs :(

I am new to Windows 8 and need to use my laptop for my business and am very frustrated right now. When opening a PDF from an e-mail attachment, I don't know how to close it out after I'm done viewing it. And now every time I try to open a new PDF attachment, it is bringing me back to the same PDF I opened yesterday (which happens to be my credit card statement!) and won't open the new PDF I need to view and print. Please help! I'm sure it's some sort of operator error, but Microsoft won't help me unless I pay!!! Thank you.

Hello Ashley, and welcome to Eight Forums.

To close an opened .pdf file in the Reader app, right click or press and hold on an empty area in Reader, then click/tap on the X for the .pdf at the top you want to close like below. If you close them all, Reader will not open to the last one opened anymore.
