Help, window\stem32\winload.efi

I have a windows 8 samsung laaptop. Last month my computer show to update to windows 8.1, I decided to do it aand wished I hadn't. In the mist of downloading, my computer justshut off. Now my laptop gives me a error code 0xc00000001 and says I need to use the recovery tools on installation media. If don't have , contact system admin. or pc manf., which costs too much. I tried the shiftand f8 as was told, but my computer keeps trying to automatically repair, but can't do it. I don't know if I need a recovery cd or a windows 8 cd or if they would even work. Why would microsoft suggest this upgrade only to mess up my computer, I mad. What is the proper thingto do. I don't understand the computer language with the letters. The only thing my vcomputer will do is go to the UEFI firmware settings, but because of the automatic repair I cont. to get the same error.

Have you made the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

I would recommend you making the OEM manufacturer's Recovery DVD's or USB drive.
