How to create recovery partition

As I posted under different thread, my Windows 8 computer crashed a week ago.
A Dell technician replaced a new motherboard. Then, Windows 8 was restored using a provided Windows 8 recovery media DVD. Now, windows 8 runs super.

What I now found was that the original recovery partitions were disappeared. in the main hard drive.
I could not create a recovery drive (in flash drive) without recovery partitions in hard drive.
Is there a way to re-create the original recovery partitions ? If so, how?

Buy the factory recovery disks.

The computer came with a "Windows 8 Recovery Media for Windows 8 Products" DVD.
Installation of Windows 8 with this disk seems to delete Recovery Partitions.

Are there a separate Factory Recovery Disks?
In Dell website, I don't see any software disk named Factory Recovery Disk.
Please advise me where to look for them?

If yours came with a recovery disk, that might be all you need.

My Gateway came with no disks.
I had to buy them for about $20.
I got mine by calling Gateway & talking to someone.

EDIT--- Dell disks>>>

If it is working well now I think I would try Macrium Reflect and see if it complains when you make a boot CD/USB and system image. If it likes it the way it is I think I'd just make backup images to an external drive.

As described earlier, I restored Windows 8 using Windows 8 Recovery Media. But did not restore Recovery partitions.

That's why I'm thinking it may be simpler just to go with backup images. If the Dell discs restore your system to multiple partitions, you could find yourself see sawing back and forth between single/multiple partition schemes. That's got to be annoying.

The original recovery partitions SHOULD be invisible at least to the OS - Use System Management tool, check the partitions with the Disk Management tool. If they are there, then they will work if you press F11.
