Keep getting this error on statup. BackgroundContainer.dll

Please help with this errorr. My dad's PC keeps getting this error on startup. And sometime we get an "run32dll.exe" error when tring to bring up "Run" prompt. Thanks for any help.

Run Task Manager and look for anything in the Startup tab with Conduit in it. Right click, then disable it. Log out/in or reboot.

Yes, that was going to be the next step. I would run Malwarebytes.

After Malwarebytes, run an elevated cmd.exe and do a sfc /scannow. It will take awhile. Let us now if it reports errors that can't be fixed.
