Last night I was watching a video on youtube in full size mode when I recieved a message on Viber. I clicked the Viber anotation in the corner, without leaving the full size mode on yt. Then google chrome became non responsive, I "called" the task manager and selected log off. It has been 8 hours now, that my computer is logging off. I left it on during the night hoping it would log off in that time, but it didn't. It won't let me call the task manager; I've also tried pulling out the battery, but when I put it back in, it just continues logging off. Does anyone have any constructive advice? Maybe how to restart the computer? Any commands I can use when the backround is blue, and there are rotating circles and writing: Logging off? :) help, please

If this is on a Notebook you also have to disconnect the AC charger along with removing the battery. Once that is done the system will shut down completely, actually Power Off from NO Electricity going to it. You then can Restart the system once you reconnect the AC charger and put the battery back in.

At that point you should not see the Log Off screen and you will need to Log Back into the system. That is IF the system loads the OS at all.

Doing the above can corrupt the Operating system.
