I've seen a newer screenshot. I can't post it (friend said there could be legal issues if I did, alas), but my friend is helping Microsoft develop 8... the one he showed me looks like a windows/mac hybrid with the floating taskbar and docked icons.

EDIT: Did I say that? oO

    Erm, I mean, what's Windows 8?

In fact, there is rumor that Microsoft and Apple are merging, or have merged.

I hope it is customizable since I'm not a fan of the ribbon nor those large ugly icons.

It took some time for me to get used to it since I was used to the Layout of Office 2003 but now Almost everything has it incorporated from Microsoft product

    32-bit Vista Business SP2

We're all just guessing (except the one person who can't post the real McCoy screenshot - well at least a genuine draft) - but it's probably going to look very similar to Windows 7 with some "features" (hopefully only the good ones but probably more the other way) from Office 2010 and Essentials 2011 included. And I suspect if you don't like the default setup you'll be able to customize it so it looks almost identical to W7 or maybe even Vista (gasp!) - LOL!
