8.1 - Cannot Hide Custom Made Libraries in Navigation Pane

Since I upgraded to 8.1 (x64), I am unable to hide custom made libraries in the navigation pane. The default libraries can be hidden/shown. Does a custom library have a registry entry? I'm sure its visibility is controlled by a simple value.

No, I don't have "show all folders" selected.

Incidentally, this http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/33844-libraries-move-above-pc-windows-8-1-a.html trick creates two lists of libraries in the navigation pane.

After some searching, I've found that the library options are in the .library-ms files and the navigation pane ignores the value of the isLibraryPinned element for custom libraries and also ignores the value for a copy of a default library. I guess I'll have to live with it until it's fixed via an update if ever.
