God Mode is perfectly safe, it's not a hack. It's just something that MS hid from users and didn't intend for people to find.

I have used it before , I didn't mean it wasn't safe ,just saying the trouble a average/novice use could get them self's into making changes with some of the stuff that shows up in god mode ,
God Mode is perfectly safe, it's not a hack. It's just something that MS hid from users and didn't intend for people to find.

@ caperjack: That's a bunch of BS........everything you see in God Mode is nothing you couldn't find in the Control Panel without God Mode. God Mode just so happens to just be a list of everything in the Control Panel in one convenient list. Nothing more. Check for yourself and see.....

Ah, I miss the good old days when you could hang OS/2 by using debug to create a 2 instruction Dos program:

Well, you could on an ISA Bus machine with no breakout switch. On PS/2 the NMI alarm would break you out of it after a short time-out. Everyone is so paranoid somebody might make a mistake. That's how you learn. :)

The people you are talking about should not mess with the system in any fashion or form. Just left click on the icons.
