Crashing Every ~4 Hours

Hello.

I am running Windows 8.1 and have been experiencing an issue as of late, without any hardware or software changes. About every 4 hours, the OS will lock up, start stuttering any audio, and then the screen goes black and it reboots. This has happened while playing a game, watching Netflix, just browsing the web, seems about anything (oncej ust launching Google Chrome).

I have checked the event logs and don't see anything (only thing is the Critical under system and it says your system did not shut down properly, no errors before it). I am trying to see what I can troubleshoot to try and resolve the issue, but am not getting anywhere. Anything will help!

Cheers!

I had the same problem a while back while playing flash videos, games. etc. It turned out that the fan on the CPU was not fully engaged to the motherboard thus causing it to overheat. I recommend this little program to monitor your heat levels. Core Temp

Reboot &-- do #1 again.

I went through and followed the steps. First picture is steps 1 and 2. Second picture is running step 1 again.

I have also been monitoring the temperature using Speccy for a bit and haven't seen any unusual temperatures.

EDIT: Just crashed again after running the above and rebooting.
EDIT 2: Seems to be happening today every like 30 minutes - 1 hour. Any ideas?
