Looking to buy a laptop with a good battery?

Hi. I don't know if this is really something that can be labelled "general support", but I am looking for a laptop with around 4-6 hours of battery, and one that is thin, not bulky (the laptop, not the battery). Does anyone know of good brands to look for that have good batteries, and if they're cheap? Maybe around the $300-600 range? What brands should I stay away from? I would just need a laptop that can run 1080p youtube streams and everyday use. Nothing big like video editing, gaming or movies. Just streaming and internet use with a good battery.

Get a Macbook Pro, that's 9 hours of battery when brand new. Unless you use Bootcamp to install Windows 7 or 8, then the battery only lasts an hour - Apple don't provide the same kick ass battery driver for Windows as exists in MACOS.

But that laptop he linked to up there? thats a GOOD LAPTOP. I just set one up, I wouldn't mind having one.

Does everything you stated on your first post plus it can be used as a tablet, comes in 11.6" or 13.3" at the same price.

Battery lasts 4-6 when in tablet mode and about 3-4 hours on top of that when docked and used as a laptop.

It's very thin, very light and best off all the IPS touch screen perfectly compliments Windows 8/8.1 in all viewing angles.

I just bought a POS DoPo M7088 POS DroiDpoopola tablet, cos it was dirt cheap on black friday. Basically it's a RockChip system just rebranded. I just tried to root it and suddenly all of the text was in chinese, so I had to reverse it.

Well he's have to compete with me for it in that case, I'd jump all over that. Rare, but I have seen offers that low, they vanish quick.

Usually a used macbook is 800 bucks.

What he might be able to get are one of those little Lenova Thinkpads. Best thing to do is just log into Newegg.com and look for laptops under 300 bucks.
