Help deleting corrupt/read-only file!

Hey guys, I recently opened a USB drive on my PC and noticed that the drive says to have 0 bytes of space left and the file is read-only. I cannot delete it or format the drive. I have even tried taking ownership of the file through an elevated command prompt where I was faced with the error: "File ownership cannot be applied on insecure file systems; there is no support for ACL's." At this point I have no where else to turn except you guys. Thanks for all the help.

Do an Advanced Install and uncheck all "Delta Toolbar" items.

Right Click on the file and if there is a process using it, you will get a Window that shows you and allows you to Delete the file while killing the process.

I just looked this up, I don't think if it a file, I think it is a process:

You may be able to delete the file by booting to a Windows 8 Install disk - Even a Windows 8 disk if you have 8.1 - If you can get to the command prompt, you can try to delete the file while it is not being accessed by the system.

ACL is an Access Control List, and some Program on your PC is creating that file, so you may have to stop that process in order to delete it.

Ah - It's from MS Access. Ubuntu also uses that extension.

What is the entire name of the file, so I can look it up and see what I can find?

Ok I will try the program provided. And the file is named PKIIntro.doc

It says Error: The object could not be deleted.

You got this error from within Windows 8?

Try this. Download Hiren's Boot CD from my link below, burn it and boot to it.

Open Mini XP in the boot selection menu, when Mini XP loads, try to delete the file from within there, try using Unlocker too.

If none of this works, you may have to open it with the program that made it, or, you will have to use One of those HD tools like WDdiag, to write Zeros to the whole drive.
