Solved Link Skydrive to my live ID

When I log into my Windows 8 tablet, I use my Live ID and password.

But, Skydrive does not seem to be linked to this ID. Actually, I cannot determine
what account my Skydrive is linked to.

Can anyone tell me how to link my Skydrive to my Live ID?

Is this for the SkyDrive app (8.1), SkyDrive desktop app (8), or online at SkyDrive.com?

If the SkyDrive app in Windows 8.1, then you might see if you may be able to use the method in the tutorial below to sign in to SkyDrive with the same Microsoft account that you signed in to Windows 8.1 with.
If SkyDrive desktop app in Windows 8, then you might see if you could set to be signed in to at startup.

If you are signed in to Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows RT, or Windows RT 8.1 with a Microsoft account, then you will automatically be signed in to the SkyDrive app with the same Microsoft account when you open it. You will not be able to sign out of the SkyDrive app.

Nope. Not so.

I am on Windows RT. When I originally turned it on for the first time and went through the setup, there was no internet access. So I used a local account. Later, I switched the account to my Windows Live ID.. When I now turn on the device, it shows my Windows Live e-mail address on the lock screen and I sign in with my password. But, my Skydrive is not connected to that account. If I go to Skydrive on the web and sign in using my Windows Live ID, none of my files shows up that I copied on the device. I set it to allow files to be viewed offline. If I copy a file into Skydrive from the web it never shows up on the device.

There appears to be no way to log out or log into a different account in Skydrive on my device. There is no setting for that anywhere.

Okay. I figured it out. The ONLY way I could determine what account the Skydrive app was using was to attempt to log into Skydrive.com from the desktop browser. That logged into the Skydrive account automatically and from there under settings I figured it out.
