Recently, my computer had been freezing on the start screen after extended periods of sleep, so I used sfc/scnannow on command prompt as administrator and it gave me the message "Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them." I opened the CBS log and it said
"Cannot repair member file [l:36{18}]"Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB" of prncacla.inf, Version = 6.2.9200.16430, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type = [l:24{12}]"driverUpdate", TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch"
So how serious is this? Also, what are some ways to fix it?
Thanks
Sounds like it has to do with AMD :"Cool n Quiet", but OI can't verify that. You should first, re-install all AMD Drivers related to the CPU, but only if you have access to the installers, they are probably in a folder or on a partition on the system. After you do that, hit Windows Key + X and choose Admin Command Prompt and type in:
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
You should do this if you can't re-install Cool n Quiet. Cool n quiet slows down your CPU when not in use, and lowers the fan speed accordingly. I don't even have it installed on my AMD systems anymore.

I have followed all the steps but I cannnot get a clean copy of the CNBJ2530 file to replace my corrupt one. I can't get access to the internet on the problematic computer to run DISM online. Is there anywhere I can simply download a good copy of the CNBJ2530 file?

Please bear in mind that i cannot access the internet from that computer. That is what I am trying to solve. I don't know if it's all connected but it is saying that my wireless card cannot be found. I've reinstalled all software and there are no issues in the device manager but I get an error message when windows starts up saying that "Failed to connect to a Windows Service" and I cannot see any networks.
The file is not a problem for your system and is not involved in the network problem. I would suggest you go to the Networking forum and ask a question regarding your network connection.
Read through some of the posts and see what information may be requested from forum members. Such things as specific system information and any exact messages. I can't check your System Specs right now but that is a good place to put pertinent system info.

Keep being prompted to repair drive errors, won't repair Hi everyone. I run W8.1. In my windows alerts, almost every time my computer runs for more than 5 minutes, I'm prompted to scan and repair driver errors. I usually just ignore it at this point, but every time my computer reboots, it runs chkdsk and it only lasts about one second. It says: "Scanning...

Repair file system errors (important) Windows Developer seems to think that my SSD has a problem and it runs a file check on every boot :( I have checked my disc with several apps and they all report it is ok.
I have turned off the disc checker for now.
Is anyone else having this problem?
