I think Windows Explorer could be tweaked a little

The Ribbon interface has now come to every aspect of Windows, whether you love it or hate it. For me, I love it. I've stopped using my keyboard commands in deference to it.

But with the ribbon taking up a chunk of screen estate, the Details pane now has to be on the side. That doesn't look that good. I think the Details pane can be put on the bottom like in 7, Ribbon on top. Now to redesign it since 8 is a huge change, it could help tablet users too, instead of up and down scrolling, it could go left to right like in the Start Screen. I use large icons for my files since I can find things a bit better and looks a bit better than details view.

My two cents...
