Because I believe Windows 8 will translate pretty well to a 10-foot interface depending on input.
Assume that a keyboard is available for typing
Mouse: the mainstay, but you'll have to have a surface to run the mouse on and it could be a little tricky
Kinect: Works pretty good for the XBOX, but is a litle slow (have to hold to confirm) and can be jittery if your room is not the right size
Wiimote: fairly accurate, I believe to be a bit faster than Kinect
Standard remote: Windows 8 could allow for more control via remotre, as mouselike sensitivity is not needed for most situations, but it can be handy
Wireless (XBOX) controller: might feel a little odd, but I believe can be mapped to do all necessary navigation (and you can stick the chatpad in it)
