I actually haven't purchased a Windows 8 machine, yet, but I have a question. In my current Vista system, when I am working with my mp3 files, I often create play lists that exceed 100 songs. In Vista, 99 is the highest track number you can have - so all mixes if you want them played in track order, has to stop at 99.
Is that the case with Windows 8? Or can I have 100+ track numbers?
Secondary question: does anyone know of a way to open a folder of songs and have the tracks renumbered automatically rather than having to open and edit each file?
