Recovery Partition

On the OEM laptop I got came with it own recovery partition
I would like to make something like this for the desktop I made
so that I can restore my desktop to newly installed pulse with office and drivers installed and a few other programs, without having to use my windows DVD or recovery disk.

Maybe image your drives with Macrium Reflect on a usb drive.?

Why don't you just use Macrium (as suggested by David Bailey) and "clone" your System Drive to that other hard drive. That way, you could just change the boot sequence and off you would go!
