If it stays that way for a long time, shut off your computer.
But don't let it boot back up, you'll want to check your Hard Drive for errors first. You can download Hiren's Boot CD from the lonk below, burn it and boot to it after you shut your system off.
When it comes up, go into Dos Programs and then into Hard Drive Tools. I use GWscan, it depends on what kind of hard drive you have, GQscan can scan WD and Seagate drives, but not Hitachi or Toshiba or Samsungs. They have those tools in there too. Just do a quick scan, and if the Programs tells you it needs to do a full scan, do it, it should take about an hour.
After you do that, boot to the Mini-XP which is on Hiren's, and you can run a regular CHKDSK from there, it's better to do it that way cos you can see the progress.
After that, boot up the system and let it do any Auto Diag it may want to do, then check your Features again, see if the Feature you were trying to enable or disable was changed per your change.
It sounds like a lot, but with Windows 8 you have to check your drive for errors when it has been shut off ungracefully, because it corrupts the filesystem.
