Sorry if this question has been asked before but we are new to this forum and could search all day and not find an answer, anyway having found the windows 8 e.mail not user friendly for printing e.mails in the format we need we have gone over to outlook but find that we cannot or find how to print the text of e.mails only without the folders list and top titles ( new, reply, delete ext) being printed.

Generally we find windows 8 not very user friendly but unfortunately it came loaded on the new lap top so no choice of operating system, anyway anybody out there can advise.

Cheers

What does Windows 8 have to do with Outlook? Outlook is a Win32 application, that is part of Office and works the same on any system you run it on. I've never seen the behavior you mention in Outlook.

Are you referring to the web based Outlook.com? If that's the case, you have to realize you're printing a web page.. and everything on the web page prints. If you don't want that, then use a full email client, they can be configured to access your outlook.com email.

If you're talking about the Mail application that comes with Windows 8, then make sure you have gone into the Windows Store and installed all updates (the app has been updated numerous times over the last year). The good news is that the app in Windows 8.1 does not seem to have this problem.
