Hello,
I am new to forums in general, so I ask you bear with me.
(Windows 8 x64, AMD A6-4400 APU with Radeon HD [7520g] graphics, 2.7GHz)
I have done nothing out of the ordinary to my PC. I was listening to music through Zune when I noticed the songs skipping like they were on a dirty CD. I went on YouTube and videos had the same issue, but only when that tab wasn't the active one. This was pretty much out of nowhere. The only thing I had done that day prior was run a game. It was a little choppy, but that is pretty much normal from my experiences with this machine. It was a little worse this time to so I decided to just restart my PC. Big mistake. Now every single thing I open that isn't either a web browser or a preloaded program like Paint immediately crashes. Steam, Zune, Origin, Camtasia, Google Earth, Skype, RGB, etc etc etc give me the "X has stopped working" popup within a minute of trying to run it.
I don't need to explain why this is frustrating and, to me, catastrophic. If anyone has any solution or anything I could try, I would appreciate it very, very much.
EDIT: I also have been unable to run Windows Update. It will check for updates, tell me I have some to download, but when I try, it just sits there. The progress bar does not move at all.
