I've been using Teracopy since Win7 and when it encounters file conflicts, it gives you the option to overwrite older files automatically or with the press of a button. The Win 8 copy dialog allows you to compare files and skip those with the same date and size. There is copy and replace option but I do not see one to replace if file is newer or skip if file is older
1) Is there an option similar to the Overwrite older or do you just have to compare files individually?
2) When it says same "date" does it just mean the day or is the time accounted for as well for example if I had a file that was updated a few hours after the original, but on the same day, would it recognize that as a difference?
PS: Has anyone done a side-by-side comparison of Win 8 copy vs Teracopy?
