    A thousand words?

Hold down the Windows key and tap the letter 'e'

Then 'browse' to the proper Folder, which in my case is
c:\Users\Play\ [as noted just right of the yellow folder icon.

Then highlight Favorites and Send To your burner.

Then per caperjack's pic choose either the top option or the bottom.

The top will allow you to add more files to the disc at a later time.

The bottom will 'close out the disk', which means no further files can
    be added to the disc.

    Good luck

yes they are 1 in the same , easier because it drag and drop,or right click copy then paste ,and it copies to the flash drive ,no burning

Never had much use for windows built in CD burning, there are many free burning programs that do much more, much better and with more options. I use Ashampoo Burning Studio free for many years now. There's a drag and drop function too.

my favorites folder is 113 kb ,not much considering how many favorites are in it ,that's why i suggest using a thumb drive /flash drive

Windunce - I don't get the same window as you show @ w-key+e. Looks like yours is media player?

Caperjack - Not sure exactly what I did, but I poked around some more and got the Burn a Disc window, chose Live File System, then I think progress bar came up, did it's thing, then disasppeared. Thought a small window would probably come up confirming they were just burned on the cd, but nothing.

Is there a way to see how much room there is left on the cd? If some got used up, I'd think I could be certain they got burned. Yes?

Look, ya just choose the item ya want moved over, right click on it, and choose SEND TO and pick the DVD burner.

Your Bookmarks and stuff are in a folder called "Favorites" which is in your User folder, so the same method can be applied:

After ya do this, a thing pops up on the bottom of your desktop that says "You have files ready to be burned to disk" - Click on the Balloon Notice and it will start you up.

caperjack - says that 5.63mb was used up. But how can that be right? Did a quick estimate on my favorites, figure about 350kb. If one mb is 1,000kb, then 350kb equals only app. 1/3 of one mb.

Also, when I right click, there is not an "open" nor an "explore"

edited half hour later - forgot to mention, I still get message at bottom saying I have files to burn.

XweAponX - 'Look, ya just' don't show the same as how my screen comes up. But, Im guessing that could be because I have windows 8, and you have windows 8 pro and pro with media center. Probably quite similar.

If you are indicating to right click on the favorites folder...choose 'send to'...and choose the dvd burner, can't do that. When I right click on the favorites folder, there is no "send to" option.
