Solved Help my computer wiped out everything!!

I am so bummed I have no clue what happened. I traveled to my friends in another state I turned on my Laptop and everything was wiped away. All my documents, pictures, video's and even my web pages were wiped cleaned and all new IE Firefox broswer, All my windows 8 apps are gone, needless to say, I am shocked!

Is there a way to get it all back?

From your post, it does seem that the computer will start up and open the desktop? Can you confirm that?

If so, you may be having a username problem. See if you can give us a scree shot of the expanded "user" folder.

I did not hit anything... The system restore point worked thanks.
