Solved Can anybody help me

I have a new windows 8 PC purchased in May of this year. I initially set it up with 2 users myself and my wife and set it up with software, social networking etc and everything was working fine. After a couple of weeks of use my wife started experiencing problems. When she logged on the tiles screen comes with the desktop option bottom left and charms etc but when she clicks on any of the charms or tried to select the desktop or do any function at all there is no response. When I logged on everything worked fine and there was no problems. The only way for my wife to log out was CTRL/ALT/DEL and the only option that she could select was sign out user which worked and she was logged out. I managed to restore the computer at this time to an earlier date and this initially fixed the problem and everything has been fine for several weeks. Last week this problem reoccurred the same as before and the restore had no effect. After reading through various forums and help pages I carried out the refresh procedure but after this has completed and everything is back installed as before there is no change. Once again I can log in without any problem but my wife can do nothing. Both user accounts have been set up in the same way so I cannot understand or work out what the problem is. Can anybody give me an guidance please??

Maybe just delete her account & make her a new one. ?

To the poster, Welcome to the Eight Forums. . .

They'd have to do it from an Admin account, but I'd just delete it, keeping the files, then make the account again, move the personal files and favourites back in.

Thanks David Bailey for your advice. I did what you suggested today and everything now seems to be ok. I am still learning about Windows 8 as I am more familiar with older systems. Didn't realise it was quite so easy to do. Thanks other for your input as well much appreciated.
