Solved windows security

for some reason i keep getting a small window pooping up in middle of the screen saying I need to enter my password
to get into a couple of my websites i'm a member of. and at the top of the window is the words windows security.
what is going on here and how do I find windows security to reset it?

Do you have AV other than the built in MSE and Defender ?

If not, run a scan with a free online scanner like malawarebytes.org or Kaspersky.


Also tell us your system specs.

I just have windows 8 home edition and what came with it. I had to add some new software. a calendar software that is better
that what came with this OS. but my Norton kept rejecting it as dangerous. but there was nothing wrong with it, it was just new software Norton had never seen before. so I had to go to Norton and have them install the software. I've been on the website since then up to 20 times per day. what ever this is just happened a couple hours ago.

Recommend do a scan with 3rd party scanner as mentioned above.
