Okay, recently I bought an iBuyPower computer after 3-4 of my friends bought one and never had an issue. So recently it's been getting freezes, it started off like once every 2 days, now it's up to about once to twice a day. A few days ago, my computer shut down and claimed that it detected power surges so I removed the power supply and replaced it with an older power supply until I could get a new one, it did not seem to help matters any, still get random freezes. So I tried reinstalling Windows 8, thinking it could be a software issue. Nope, got 2 freezes today. So I ran some checks on my drives, and nothing. So I ran a Memtest, and it went all the way through 100% and returned nothing. So I checked the BIOS and set everything to default and yet it still froze. Is there anything I can do to help me diagnose it. I am absolutely dreading that something expensive is broken and I really don't want to take it into a computer store to diagnose it.
It is a complete freeze, no sound, nothing.
