Random Freezes

Okay, recently I bought an iBuyPower computer after 3-4 of my friends bought one and never had an issue. So recently it's been getting freezes, it started off like once every 2 days, now it's up to about once to twice a day. A few days ago, my computer shut down and claimed that it detected power surges so I removed the power supply and replaced it with an older power supply until I could get a new one, it did not seem to help matters any, still get random freezes. So I tried reinstalling Windows 8, thinking it could be a software issue. Nope, got 2 freezes today. So I ran some checks on my drives, and nothing. So I ran a Memtest, and it went all the way through 100% and returned nothing. So I checked the BIOS and set everything to default and yet it still froze. Is there anything I can do to help me diagnose it. I am absolutely dreading that something expensive is broken and I really don't want to take it into a computer store to diagnose it.

It is a complete freeze, no sound, nothing.

Here are my specs:

i5-3570
nVidia GTX 660 EVGA Superclocked
8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz RAM
128GB San Disk Ultra Plus SSD
1TB Seagate Barracuda (3 Years Old)
Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard (updated to 1902 BIOS)
Thermaltake TR2 600W PSU

I was having random freezes on my main system, it turned out to be a Rootkit - I downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit and it found something before it even ran and deleted it. You may wanna try that, also download TDSSkiller and run a scan with the "TDSS Filesystems" box checked in "Change Parameters", you'll see it once you start the program.

What you wanna consider is if this is happening on a regular schedule, it was happening to me every night between 12:00 am and 4:00am, it would be frozen on the Ribbons Screensaver. Do a quick check for rootkits and see if that finds anything. You can also try "GMER"
